India and Pakisthan to hold first meeting over Kartarpur Corridor on March 14

The first meeting between Indian and Pakistan over Kartarpur corridor would be held at Attari-Wagha border on March 14 to discuss and finalise modalties for the corridor.

Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement on Wednesday, ‘Indian has also proposed that a technical level discussion on  the alignment for the corridor be held on the same day on the sidelines of the meeting.’

After the airstrike by Indian Air Force on Jaish terror camp in Balakot, Pakistan has taken several step to de-escalate tension with India. Following the meeting of 14 March, an Indian Delegation will visit Islamabad on 28 March, according to Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Pakistan also send back to its High Commissioner Sohail Mahmood to New Delhi on March 6. Sohail Mahmood was called back on February 18 to Islamabad for consultation in the wake of Pulwama Terror Attack which was carried by Pakistan based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed on Feb 14.

After the airstrike By India, Pakistan has been in intense global pressure to stop supporting and funding terrorist. In the wake of global pressure, Pakistan launched a campaign to crackdown against terror outfit, taking into custody Masood Azhar brother’s and son along with 44 others terrorist of banned outfits.
